The transformer for Besa's low-voltage pendants rests in the canopy, so you don't need to run a feed from somewhere else.  Simply wire the fixture to the transformer, wrap the lead to shorten it to the desired height, and then close up the canopy.  Both the transformer and the extra lead length are obscured within the canopy to produce a clean look.
